our story

Old School Cook and Craft

Hi there!  Thanks for your interest in our store, Cook and Craft.  Here’s a little tidbit about us…

We are nestled cozily on Arcadia road in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, next to Gary’s sandwich place (Alpen Pantry), Across from the old Arcadia Coffee which is now Le Fat Poodle.  Many people are pleasantly surprised that the cute little town of Old Greenwich has all the essential stores and services to make it a one-stop shopping destination, a nice alternative to (zombie) malls. We certainly are proud and exited to be a part of this lively village.

Cook and Craft was opened in 2000 by 15-year veteran chef, Brian Ebzery, with the central mission of offering positive shopping experience for customers (stemming from his own aversion of shopping!)  Now 15 years later, Garrison Gunter the current owner continues to fulfill local needs by stocking carefully chosen high quality products, offering competitive pricing and providing personal customer service and great cooking advice.

cook and craft is more than just a kitchen store… In addition to essential tools and electrics for your kitchen, we have dedicated half of our store to showcase handmade crafts for your table.  We also carry gourmet pantry items such as porcini and truffle oils, French jams, Tunisian black olive spreads, and exotic salts.

We have a broad selection of kitchenware in our store. In certain cases, we are happy to accommodate special orders for our customers.

So come and visit us, browse our collection and enjoy a cappuccino or cup of espresso on us.

We hope to see see you soon!
